EastEnders hints at shock death twist with telling comment as exit ‘sealed’

EastEnders has seemed to hinted at a shock death twist after the club crush horror on the BBC soap, after Chelsea Fox deliberately oversold the tickets

EastEnders has seemingly hinted at a surprise death twist after the club crush horror on the Square.

Amy Mitchell and Lauren Branning are still in hospital after being caught up in the deadly club crush at Peggy’s, when an angry Chelsea Fox tried to get her own back on rival Penny Branning by putting more tickets on the website for the event.

It led to vast overcrowding at the venue and it ended up in a huge club crush, causing both Amy and Lauren – amongst others – to be injured. However, in a twist, it seems like EastEnders has hinted that someone could still die in sad scenes.

On tonight’s episode, catching up with her dad on the Square, Penny told him: “I’m fine by the way! I mean I could be done for manslaughter if someone dies and my police officer dad isn’t helping – but I’m fine. I didn’t release any more tickets. I don’t care what they found, you have to believe me,” but Jack wasn’t worried about the tickets.

“People are in a critical condition. Amy and Lauren could have died, so yes they are my priority right now,” Jack fumed.

It comes after actress Zaraah Abrahams – who plays Chelsea – opened up about the guilt she feels following the club crush.

“She has absolutely no idea. She thinks it’s just going to be too busy, too hot and people are going to complain and want to go home as the understaffed bar is overwhelmed,” she said of the big storyline.

“She feels absolutely awful. It was never her intention for anything to go so badly wrong, and instantly she is filled with guilt that she has had a part to play in what is a catastrophic, and potentially fatal, accident. I think she is going to take it quite hard, especially because she is a mum now so has another perspective on what life means.”

Whilst Jack has said both Lauren and Amy will be ok, there are serious fears that one of them could lose their lives. Some fans are convinced Lauren is heading for a painkiller addiction storyline, whilst Amy has yet to have shown any sign of improvement.
