At the hospital, Priya and Ravi are devastated, while Denzel, completely unaware of the chaos, receives encouragement from Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) and emerges victorious in his match at the tournament.

Nugget’s health takes a turn for the worse when Dr. Miller (uncredited) discloses that his kidneys are failing-despite his family’s denial of drug use, Ravi privately shares Zack’s concerns with the doctor.

This leads to a heated argument between Ravi and Priya about their parenting, but they eventually come together for support; the shocking revelation that Nugget has been taking steroids shocks everyone.

As Nugget fights for his life, the doctors warn that he may require long-term dialysis-pressure mounts on Nugget to reveal his drug supplier, but he remains silent.
