Seeking Sister Wife couple Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield are finally showing off their daughter in a little video. It had long been speculated that they had welcomed a baby based on newborn items seen around their home. Yet, they never confirmed anything of the sort. Now, the secret is out and they are proudly sharing the latest Merrifield. Keep reading for more details.
Garrick & Dannielle Merrifield Share Video Of New Daughter
It was questioned if Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield had secretly welcomed a baby before Season 5 of Seeking Sister Wife began. There were a few clues that led fans to believe this, the first being Dannielle’s social media hiatus starting in January 2023. She returned in September 2023 as if nothing had happened. Then, baby items were spotted around their home which was soon put on the market. In the staging photos, a baby setup was seen including a beautiful crib. Some wondered if this was simply to make the home appear more family-friendly. Additionally, a baby bouncer could be seen around their living room so it was clear something was up.
In the middle of the season, Garrick left for Brazil to be with their new potential sister wife, Nathalia, leaving Dannielle scared. She and her husband are legally divorced so nothing was holding him back from staying in Brazil. While he was away, she started to feel off so she took a blood test and learned she was pregnant. On the April 22nd episode, she told Garrick via FaceTime who was shocked but said it was a gift from God. Now, Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield are proudly showing off their first little girl via Instagram.
Her name is Leia Lilly Melisa Merrifield and she was born on May 17th, 2023 at 1:22 pm. She weighed in at 8 pounds and was 21 inches long. Admittedly, Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield could not speak about it so as to not ruin the show. Yet, now that it is out there, they are free to show her off. She joins their two older children, sons, Geremiah and Solomon.

Though Garrick Merrifield is not a viewer favorite, fans could not help but celebrate the cutie that Leia is:

They also hoped that Garrick would learn how to treat a woman now that he had a daughter. Finally, TLC celebrated the birth of Leia with a small slideshow, including a snap of Dannielle pregnant.
