In a new statement to The U.S. Sun, the Flagstaff Police Department revealed that “the case it is no longer under investigation and it has been ruled a suicide.”

They added, “The police investigation is closed. There was no foul play and it was not a homicide. He took his own life.”

However, police are awaiting for the Medical Examiner’s report to see if any additional information needs to be added to the narrative that cops initially included in the police report.

That report will show if there were any drugs or alcohol in his system at the time of death.

UNITED FRONT

In photos released to the public, the army vet’s family, including Kody, Robyn and Christine, were seated next to each other as they paid their respects.

Janelle called it a “beautiful moment” to have everyone in one room and informed her fans that it has been “hard” to function properly.

She added, “I am so grateful for the out pouring of love and support I’ve received these last three weeks.

“The support has been overwhelming. I am honored. So many of you shared stories of your loved ones. So many of you wrote of your thoughts and prayers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Janelle’s other kids, whom she shares with Kody, have been by her side, including Logan, Maddie, Hunter, Gabe and Savanah, throughout the grieving process.

PRIVATE BATTLE
Garrison’s body was found by his brother Gabe in his Flagstaff home.

In the police report obtained by The U.S. Sun, Gabe informed the police that his older brother “had been struggling with mental health concerns and alcohol abuse.”

The cops also interviewed Garrison’s mom and his three roommates – identified as Tyler, Cheyenne, and Addison – who all gave their account of the hours leading up to the tragedy.

An officer wrote in the report, “Addison stated that he has had conversations with [Garrison] about him being depressed lately.

“He stated that [Garrison] is an alcoholic and drinks every night.”

Addison said he and Garrison spoke the night before his suicide, and that Garrison had appeared to have been “intoxicated.”

Although the duo spent a lot of time together, Addison stated that nothing Garrison said ever raised a “red flag.”

‘SHOULD’VE GOTTEN HELP’
Meanwhile, Janelle told cops that Garrison “stopped texting” the night before his suicide and that he sent “troubling messages.”

According to Kody’s second wife, Garrison had texted a group of people that the Brown family works with on their TLC show.

The message reportedly read, “I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days.”

After learning of Garrison’s strange text, she told police that she reached out to her son who engaged with her for only a few minutes before he stopped replying.

Janelle remarked, per the report, that she “should have gotten Garrison help in the past” and noted that he was “estranged from his father.”

It was known to Sister Wives fans that Garrison and his dad, who is a father of 18, had a tumultuous relationship for years.

‘DEEPLY SADDENED’
Despite Garrison and Kody’s estrangement, Kody took to Instagram the day the shocking news broke.

“Janelle and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” Kody captioned two past photos of Garrison.

“He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. Our loss will leave such a big hole in our lives, that it takes our breath away.”

Janelle shared the same photos and message on her account.

A source told The U.S. Sun that the entire Sister Wives family is “extremely broken and tortured”, and it’s “very painful” for many of them who were especially close to the young adult.

The aftermath of Garrison’s tragic death will reportedly play out in season 19 of Sister Wives.
