Jen Landon Says Goodbye to ‘Yellowstone’ With an Emotional Message

Yellowstone is nearing the end of shooting for the second half of Season 5, and Jen Landon is among the actors who are saying farewell to the show. She turned to social media on Tuesday (Sept. 10) to share her final moments on the set, reflecting on her run on the smash hit program.

“Here’s a blurry selfie of me leaving set on my last day of the last season of Yellowstone,” Landon — who played foul-mouthed ranch hand Teeter on the show — writes to accompany a black-and-white photo of herself in her character’s signature jeans, tank top and cowboy hat.

“Mound of paper towels for all the feelings. It was an incredible ride,” she adds, including the hashtags #yellowstone #yellowstonetv #teeter and #timetobuyahorseforreal.

Landon is the daughter of Bonanza and Little House on the Prairie star Michael Landon, and she made her acting debut in an episode of his show Highway to Heaven. She has not yet announced her future plans after Yellowstone.

Landon is just the latest cast member to share her final exit from Yellowstone as it approaches the end of filming Season 5.

Wendy Moniz — who played Governor Lynelle Perry on Yellowstone — turned to social media in August to share that she had completed her work on the show, writing, “Series wrap for me on Yellowstone and been having alllll the feels; sentimental, proud, grateful to name a few … What a beautiful experience I’ve had here; just incredibly fortunate to have worked with so many talented, dedicated, and kind people since 2017.”

Teenager actor Brecken Merrill played Tate on Yellowstone, and he also shared that he had wrapped on the show in early August, writing, “We had a good long run of it. That’s a series wrap for Tate on Yellowstone. Love you guys!”

It’s not clear if filming is entirely complete for the second half of Yellowstone Season 5, but the new episodes are set to begin airing on Nov. 10.

Paramount had announced that Season 5 would bring Yellowstone to an end after series star Kevin Costner departed the show. However, Puck News reports that Paramount has changed its mind about canceling Yellowstone, and that Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler) and Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton) are in talks to continue in their original roles in a possible Season 6.
