OutDaughtered: Why Did The Show Go On A Hiatus?
The Busbys are finally back on television to take it by storm. After two long years, fans are excited to see the family back on the TV screens. The last time the fans saw the family was in 2021, during the show’s 8th season. But they didn’t realize it would be two years before they saw the six lovely girls and their parents again. Now that the show is back, Adam and Danielle finally discuss their break.
Danielle and Adam recently discussed the hiatus on their YouTube channel. The OutDaughtered couple revealed the reason behind the break—a shocking but also sensible one. Danielle revealed that they decided to take a break from filming due to COVID-19. They were worried about its impact on the family. She revealed that COVID-19 had changed “how things,” “businesses,” and “people” worked.
The couple also faced many of the same issues that other people did. One of these problems was wondering, “What’s in our future now?” They needed time to “reassess.” So, Adam and Danielle decided to prioritize their family. This meant stepping away from shooting and reconnecting with each other and their daughters.
Adam revealed “a typical season” of OutDaughtered took “three to five months” to shoot. But with COVID going on, “it took close to a year.” So, they decided to go on a hiatus. The couple wanted to prioritize their and their daughters’ health. But the show is back now, and the fans look forward to it.
OutDaughtered: Did The Busbys Leave Texas?
Adam, Danielle, and their daughters used to live in a cute home. However, in June 2019, they found that their home had a mold infestation after Ava had breathing issues. The parents decided to call a mold inspector who found “terrifying results.” Ava and Olivia’s room was in a “really bad” shape with the worst problem. So, the family had to move into a rental home.
But they found a good rental home in Texas with a backyard. After living in it for some time, the OutDaughtered family fell in love with the home. They decided to purchase their rental, and Michelle Mimi Theriot helped them.
After buying the house, Adam and Danielle renovated it. Currently, Danielle is renovating her and Adams’ bedroom “SLOWLY.” According to her February 2024 Instagram post, she wanted to give it “a Modern Moody Bedroom” vibe.
