Sister Wives star Kody Brown says he is not looking for a new wife to fill the vacant slots left by his ex-wives. Instead, he hopes to make amends with his former partner, Janelle Brown. He believes there is a strong possibility that, in the future, they will reconcile and start a new chapter in their lives.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Is Confident His Relationship with Janelle Brown Is Far from Over
In a recent interview with People Magazine, Kody Brown said he has no plans to search for another woman to fill the void left by his exes, Christine Brown and Meri Brown. Instead, he has another plan in mind. He feels that he and Janelle could get back together with some work.

Kody says he wants to save the time and energy he would spend looking for a new wife. Instead, he feels he should just put forth the efforts into reconciling with Sister Wives ex. “Any effort that I would ever think in that direction would need to be put into my relationship with Janelle and certainly my relationship with Robyn to maintain that relationship as well.”

He adds that he needs to find a new normal with her. Kody says that even if they were to reconcile, he understands things would have to be “very different” moving forward. He feels confident that they may get there at some point with time and work.

Janelle Remains Open to Plural Marriage

Sister Wives: Janelle Brown

The entire Sister Wives family are trying to adjust. Janelle says it was a difficult and painful time for them all. But she looks to the positive side of the situation. She says she has no regrets when she looks back on her past. “The experience is what gave us the life that we have now. I would do it all over again.”

Although it has been a challenging time for her emotionally, Janelle Brown says she has high hopes for her future. As for moving forward with a new relationship, she says she is in no hurry but remains open to the idea.

But she says when the time comes, she is looking for a different type of relationship than her former co-wife Christine found with David Woolley. Instead, she admits she still wants a plural marriage.

She admits when it comes down to it, it is a lifestyle that has worked for her and one she feels comfortable living. For now, Janelle says she is happy and loves her independence. She adds that she is not yet ready to enter another relationship. “But should the situation present itself, it’s not something she would shy away from.” As for the possibility of reconciling with her Sister Wives ex, she has not yet responded to his statements.

Sister Wives: Season 18 Will be a Painful Reminder for Kody

Sister Wives star Kody Brown with Meri addressing their split

Sister Wives star Kody Brown’s suffering right now as he’s lost his son, Garrison Brown, who voiced his issues with his father onscreen in the past. Since he and Garrison did have some problems, Kody must be incredibly sad. He’s probably feeling very bad about everything that happened and wishing it could have been different. While Garrison’s in Heaven now, free of emotional turmoil after allegedly living with alcohol addiction, Kody’s still here on earth, processing a tragic event that’s totally heartbreaking.

In Sister Wives season 18, Kody was irritable, self-pitying and angry. His mood swings were dramatic. Janelle Brown swore at him onscreen – their drama played out as they sat on the couch of the small Arizona apartment that she was renting. When things got too heated, he’d pull on his brown leather jacket and flee. Janelle didn’t like the fact that Kody basically sealed himself off from her and their children, including Garrison, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The kids didn’t like it, either. While no one’s to blame for Garrison’s suicide, Kody’s issues with his son may haunt him.

Kody Brown Probably Has Regrets That Are Making Him Miserable

Garrison is gone and nothing can bring him back. He was a wonderful person who loved his family. Garrison helped animals, was a great pal to his friends, and had a warm and loving personality. Sure, he had problems, but that’s not what anyone should focus on right now. It’s his good qualities that should be remembered.

The kind of pain that drives someone to suicide is unbearable – it’s despair. Depression is real – it’s an epidemic in society. Depression, whether treated or untreated, can kill. People who feel this kind of despair deserve compassion – they don’t deserve judgment. Rest in peace, Garrison.

Right now, it seems like Kody and Robyn are the ones who are getting judged. The Sister Wives stars have a hard road ahead. If Robyn sticks it out, Kody might be okay. If she decides to leave, Kody may feel like he has nothing left.
