Bartlett residents were excited to learn their town would be featured in the “Yellowstone” prequel.

“I’m a big Yellowstone fan and have watched the other series so it was kind of cool to have one of those happening here,” Bartlett business owner Cari Wible said.

Businesses with locations in the downtown area being used for the shows set had to halt operations temporarily. Cari Wible owns a wedding venue with three locations downtown being used for filming. She said the show using her locations will help her business.

“For my industry especially it’s all about being unique and having a great space for people to come to,” Wible “And so knowing that people will be able to look at my wedding venue and see it on TV and say ‘My wedding venue was on a TV show’ is pretty awesome.”

Wible said the show choosing to film in Bartlett will be good for the town.

“It’s unique and it’s special and it just kinda gives a little notoriety to someone who’s just a small business owner trying to figure out how to make it all happen and to have any kind of extra attention that way or recognition is awesome,” Wible said.

Wible said the opportunity for her business location to be featured on an iconic TV series meant a lot to her.
